Who are we?

We are UK road haulage specialists – and are experts at providing top quality, sustainable logistics.

Our Head Office is based in Beeston, Nottingham.

We can supply various vehicle types including Artic Tautliner and Flat-beds, rigid vehicles and courier vans for transporting all types of freight.

We can handle anything from 1 to 26 pallet orders for same day, next day delivery or on a return-load basis. We are able to quote and manage small or large contracts in any part of the country.

We manage a large fleet of vehicles with the ability to provide logistic distribution services throughout the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands.

All our vehicles are fitted with mobile phones and many are fitted with GPS satellite tracking systems which enables us to keep our customers in touch with their deliveries.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

RED DOG TRANSPORT IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS – and keeping the supply chain running.

The coronavirus has already had a huge impact on the transport industry throughout the UK and the world.  Here at Red Dog Transport, we are working hard to maintain our operations as near to normal as is possible.

Director, Lee Hanna said: “The health and safety of our employees remains priority, along with keeping clear lines open with our customers.  We have contingency plans in place and we will continue to monitor the situation each day.  All of our customers can be assured that we are dedicated to keeping the supplies moving.”

What about our Carbon Footprint?

Here at Red Dog Transport, we recognise the effects that our operations may have on the environment.  As a responsible company, it is our objective to make sure that we transport all goods with the lowest possible impact on the ecological and social environment.

For instance, we have invested in a system where we can advertise our empty return loads so that our vehicles do not return empty.  By operating this way, we benefit from sustainable transport with reduced empty running.

Our back office systems have been streamlined and automated and have replaced our paper based systems. This has massively reduced our print and paper usage.

We think that any change, small or large will make an impact.  Even our Director is doing his bit and is walking in and out of the office each day!

We believe that we are the number 1 transport company in Nottingham for sustainability, and we are continually looking for ways to improve our impact.

Men’s Health Week 15-21 June 2020

Every year in June, the world celebrates Men’s Health Week. This is a time to bring awareness to health issues that affect men disproportionately. It focuses on getting men to become aware of problems they may have or could develop and gain the courage to do something about it.

Although there are now many more females embarking on a career within the transport industry, it still is a male dominated industry and as such, we feel that it is important to highlight any initiative promoting support and more importantly, open dialogue for our male colleagues out there.
